In the school setting, during times of moderate and high community transmission levels, individuals with COVID symptoms and no known exposure to a COVID case in the last 14 days, regardless of vaccination status, may follow the NJDOH School Exclusion List to determine when they may return to school only if they have an alternative diagnosis such as strep throat, influenza, or allergies supported by an evaluation by a medical provider.

The Board monitors the houses and facilities to ensure their resident lists are accurate, house rules are in place and enforced, fire licenses are current, etc. Any issue that is reported by a resident, community provider, family member or the facility operator regarding problems or needs of a resident is handled as a complaint and is investigated.

Any abuse, neglect or exploitation matters are treated as emergencies and result in an immediate response. If necessary, reports are made to the appropriate licensing agencies and if applicable, for their investigation and remediation. Coordination of investigations with all licensing and governmental agencies is handled by the Board.

Refugee Resettlement Program Provides financial assistance to families who have been granted asylum by the United States Government from political or religious persecution, for 8 months after their entry into the country. The results of the survey enable the NJDOE to determine compliance with SES requirements and student academic progress of the various SES providers that participated in the provider program during the project period.

Information about this survey is distributed to districts incorporated with instructions for the Title I Performance Report. Provider Evaluations As part of the evaluation process, each approved SES provider in New Jersey offering services during a project period must complete an on-line SES Provider Annual Report that includes information on SES program implementation, SES instructor qualifications, data on districts served, and assurances and authorization to continue as an approved provider.
