Option 3 Residency — The applicant must have graduated before June 1, from a 2-year residency program in podiatric medicine and surgery accredited by the Council on Podiatric Medical Education; Board certification — The applicant must be board certified in reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery by a national certifying board having certification standards acceptable to the State Education Department.
